Tough Matter is a monthly NTS Radio show broadcasting since 2017. Drawing on a deep-rooted commitment to sonic history and community, Tough Matter weaves together diasporic lineages and lived experience to build a listening space that is as much about community and memory as it is about rhythm and resonance. The shows combine a world of experimental music and sound including dub, new wave, contemporary jazz, post punk, broken-beat, ambient, field recordings and sound-art.
